How does family tuition vary from the main Web Safety Guru course?

In many ways children are way ahead of most adults when it comes to computers. There will be more emphasis on the safety on social media aspects, and also On using the internet outside the home. This is because young people will use the internet on more devices in more places.
You may wish to select the Social Media Masterclass which will have tips on how to spot when you are being deceived by fake profiles and what to do if you are being bullied online. The Social Media Masterclass also has a strong emphasis on privacy, for example stopping the wrong people from accessing your profiles.

What parts of the General Web Safety Course are especially beneficial to young people.

People should learn about the importance of strong passwords from an early age. There are often fads reinforced by peer pressure which aren’t always beneficial in terms of privacy or computer safety. Examples include TikTok and myproifilepic.com which steal a lot of personal data. Applications downloaded from unofficial sources may contain viruses.

You’ll also want a degree of control over what your children can get up to online. Many products and services already have child proofing, at least in theory. I’ll teach you how to set up your childrens’ accounts on the computer so they cannot download files without your permission and so you can log in as a super-user to Check what they are doing.

Can I sit on while the tuition takes place?

Of course. The tuition is designed for one person or an entire family. There is one small part of the tuition that is only for you. That involved how to set up accounts on a computer in such a way that your children cannot download anything harmful.
